A Green Will Conservancy leadership program where teens ages 12-18 build communication, resilience, accountability, technology, and land-care skills while serving kupuna and the Puna community.

From surviving to thriving

A supportive family space for skill-building and service.

Participants join a safe group setting with qualified mental health professionals, mentors, volunteers, interns, family members, and trauma-informed staff. The program combines connection, self-regulation, technology practice, civic service, and care for the natural environment.

Sunday virtual program

Community meetings

Group gatherings include story time, yoga and physical movement, peer connection, and a supportive place to share challenges and receive feedback.

Land stewardship

Hands-on service

Members may participate in seed planting, backyard gardening, fruit tree propagation, and care for the natural environment.

Mentorship

Guided by trained adults

The social club includes families, volunteers, interns, mental health professionals, and para-professional staff with trauma-informed skills.

Career development

Paid leadership practice

Committed participants can build computer, survey, communication, civic service, environmental justice, and human-service experience.

How participation works

Clear commitments, real support, meaningful service.

Qualified applicants interview with an elder and Green Will staff, join Sunday group sessions, care responsibly for program equipment, and complete community service activities across the year.

  • Participate in at least four Sunday group sessions as part of intake.
  • Attend weekly group meetings and scheduled elder tech meetings.
  • Provide technology support, surveys, and community-service participation.
  • Receive stipend opportunities for individual, group, and leadership roles.
  • Work toward keeping the iPad after one school year of successful participation.
